WEGH GROUP EXPANDS INTO BULGARIA

With the recent acquisition of 50% of Aquasys JsC, WEGH Group has entered the Bulgarian market for the production of concrete railway sleepers through its controlled subsidiary Balgarski Betonni Elementi JsC. (BBE) BBE, based in Svishtov, is the leading Bulgarian company in the production of concrete railway sleepers, centrifuged poles for electrification and, thanks to the experience gained over the years, is a reference point in the Bulgarian railway sector. It is certified ISO 9001-2015 and the sleepers produced, in all types required in the Bulgarian market, are certified for interoperability in accordance with Directive 2008/57/EC.
