WEGH GROUP ACQUIRES THE BUSINESS UNIT OLMI SLEEPER TECHNOLOGY TO COMPLETE ITS TECHNOLOGICAL OFFER IN THE PLANT SECTOR

In line with its product portfolio expansion strategy, WEGH Group acquires the OLMI Sleeper Technology business from Alfa Laval Olmi.

With this acquisition, WEGH increases its overall know-how and presents itself to the market as the world’s largest manufacturer of plants for the production of C.A.P. railway sleepers and switching barriers.

OLMI sleeper Technology and SICI represent two excellences in this field: the first in theCarousel process and the second in the Long-Line process.

Thanks to the synergy of these historic brands, WEGH Group S.p.A.acquires international leadership with 97 plants realized and referenced in different environmental and social contexts of the world such as, in addition to Italy of course, Russia, Mozambique, Germany, Cuba, Spain, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Abu Dhabi, Argentina, Poland, Peru, Iran, Malaysia, India, Bolivia, etc..
