Collaboration with Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI) continues for centralized diagnostics systems for TD96/2 level crossings

As part of the investments made by Ferrovienord to modernise its railway network, WEGH Group has been awarded a contract confirming its partnership with the FNM Group company.
The agreement provides for the supply of 230 TD96/2 level-crossing barriers, which will increase the number of level-crossing point machines of the same model already in operation.
In addition, the older machines will be replaced with the TD96/2, which are characterised by their safety, availability and ease of maintenance.
The TD96/2 level-crossing barriers of WEGH Group, which are already in operation on the Ferrovienord railway, will be installed on both the ISEO and MILAN branches, single and double-track ordinary gauge lines, mixed diesel traction and DC power lines.
Ferrovienord’s choice confirms the reliability of the TD96/2, as well as the reduction in maintenance costs and the consolidated knowledge of this product acquired over the years by the maintenance staff.
