WEGH Group is proud to announce the cooperation with Smart Roads, The Egyptian self-maintenance of roads and airports company, the GNCRB, The General Nile Company for Roads and Bridges, and EICW, The Engineering Institution of Civil Work, some of the most important Egyptian entities, which are going to produce sleepers for the high-speed rail project in Egypt adopting Wegh Group technology.
Smart Roads, GNCRB and EICW, through the acquisition of three WEGH Group carousel plants for concrete sleeper production, will meet the production capacity of more than 75% of the project needs.
The Egyptian High Speed train project, with its over 2.000 km of total length, represents one of the last decades biggest railway project in the entire North Africa.
Modularity and production flexibility, easy to be set up and relocated, and high level of technology, are some of the adding values of the sleepers’ production plants chosen by our customers.
