WEGH Group sets up first sleeper plant in Albania

WEGH Group has recently completed the installation of the first plant in Albania for the production of concrete sleepers, intended for the client A.N.K. The plant, based on an advanced carousel system, is designed to produce B70-type sleepers. Thanks to its modular structure, the plant can double its production capacity, ensuring maximum operational flexibility.

The client will also have the ability to produce other types of sleepers, according to specific needs. The high level of integrated automation allows for optimization of both qualitative and quantitative production control, while reducing the need for personnel.

This project strengthens WEGH’s presence in the strategic markets of the Balkans.
