We are strengthening our presence in North Africa thanks to the new project in Algeria with GCB, Societé National de Génie Civil et Bâtiment, one of the most important Algerian companies, that is part of the Sonatrach Group.
GCB will produce concrete railway sleepers using our carousel plant, a versatile system that adapts to different production requirements. This plant is characterised by its high level of automation, and its special feature is its modularity, which allows an increase in hourly production.
The railway project in which GCB is participating covers over 1,000 km, connecting Béchar to Tindouf. The initiative aims to improve passenger and freight rail transport between the northern and southern regions of Algeria. The experience of our Business Units guarantees the customer comprehensive support with a turnkey project solution, from the design of the final product to the commissioning and start-up of the production plant.
