WEGH expands the production and revamping of level crossing machines model TD96/2, a product that is as important as it is historical for our company, which still today stands for high safety and guarantee for a demanding and attentive customer.
The new factory in Montemurlo (PO) was specially chosen close to the current production site in Prato to ensure continuity of the high standards of our products.
Thanks to this new production site, a specialised team will be entirely dedicated to the management of the revamping order, commissioned by RFI for the overhaul of approximately 7000 level-crossing machines model TD96/2, thus guaranteeing, thanks to the wide space, all the operations necessary for their restoration. The activity will involve the overhaul of both the hydraulic and electronic parts of the TD96/2 PL machines from all Italian railway sections, where level crossings supplied by WEGH are installed to reduce the cost of the fleet and RFI’s overall investment.
