The Ambassador at WEGH Group plant in Mozambique

His Excellency the Ambassador of Italy, Roberto Vellano, officially visited WEGH Group plant in Namialo on March 18th.

The Plant Manager Giancarlo Cernotto described the industrial process of the factory that, equipped with a Long-Line plant producing 2.000 prestressed concrete sleepers per day, will supply the building of the Nacala corridor railway track.

Expressing enthusiasm for the plant representing one of the most relevant Italian private industry investments in Mozambique and the daily job involving about 250 workers, the Prestigious Guest underlined the importance of the factory in terms of local economic development and social progress.
