SLEEPERS

Sleepers made of prestressed reinforced concrete are the most common type of superstructure in the railway industry worldwide. WEGH Group manufactures different types of sleepers for the Italian market, based on the specifications of Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (Italian Railway Network), to be fitted in both conventional and high speed lines, and featuring different types of fastening systems (Pandrol 4994, W14 Vossloh, Pandrol Fast Clip). As to the foreign market, WEGH Group designs and manufactures the sleeper types according to requirements of the local regulations or to the features of the railway network. Each sleeper type can be supplied with the fastening system selected by the client (Vossloh, Padrol E-Clip, Pandrol Fast-Clip, Denik).
